Refund policy

At Tus Botas, we are committed to providing quality products and clear return guidelines. Please review this policy carefully before submitting a return request.

 

30-Calendar-Day Return Window

 

Customers have 30 calendar days from the confirmed delivery date to request and return their item for a full refund or exchange.

All timeframes in this policy are calculated using calendar days (including weekends and holidays) unless otherwise stated.

 

To qualify for a full refund or exchange:

 

A return or exchange request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery.

The item must be shipped and scanned by the shipping carrier within 30 calendar days of delivery.

 

The return date is determined by the carrier’s first scan date, which is the date the shipping carrier (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) first scans the package into their system after drop-off or pickup.

Creating or printing a return label does not qualify as a return.

Return requests are reviewed within 2–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). This review period does not pause or extend the 30-calendar-day return window.

Requests submitted after 30 calendar days from delivery will not be accepted.

 

Returns Shipped After 30 Calendar Days

 

If a return request was submitted within 30 calendar days but the item is scanned by the carrier after the 30-day window:

 

  • Scanned 31–40 calendar days after delivery: Eligible for store credit only.
  • Scanned more than 40 calendar days after delivery: Not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.

 

Returns Shipped After 40 Calendar Days

 

Items scanned by the carrier more than 40 calendar days after delivery are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.

 

If such items are received:

 

  • The item may be reshipped to the customer at their expense.
  • Tus Botas will issue an invoice for the reshipment cost.
  • Payment must be received within 14 calendar days.

 

If payment is not received within 14 calendar days, the item will be considered abandoned and may be restocked, donated, or otherwise handled at our discretion.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Items

 

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 5 calendar days of delivery.

 

Damaged or incorrect items must still be shipped and scanned by the carrier within 30 calendar days of delivery to qualify for a full refund or exchange.

 

If a damaged or incorrect item is scanned after 30 calendar days:

 

  • 31–40 calendar days: Eligible for store credit only.
  • More than 40 calendar days: Not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.

 

Clear photos and your order number are required when reporting damaged or incorrect items.

 

Condition Requirements

 

To qualify for a refund or exchange, items must be:

 

  • Unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • Free of odors, stains, dirt, scuffs, creasing, pet hair, or other signs of wear
  • Returned with all original packaging, tags, and accessories
  • Footwear must be tried on indoors only

 

Items returned in worn, altered, damaged, or unsellable condition will not qualify for refund, exchange, or store credit.

 

If such items are received:

 

  • An invoice will be issued for reshipment at the customer’s expense.
  • Payment must be received within 14 calendar days.

 

If payment is not received within 14 calendar days, the item will be considered abandoned.

 

Unauthorized Returns

 

Returns shipped without prior approval are considered unauthorized.

 

Tus Botas is not responsible for processing or returning unauthorized items.

 

If an unauthorized return is received:

 

  • No refund, exchange, or credit will be issued.
  • An invoice will be sent for reshipment at the customer’s expense.
  • Payment must be received within 14 calendar days.

 

If payment is not received within 14 calendar days, the item will be considered abandoned.

 

Shipping Costs

 

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or we made an error.

 

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

Orders that qualified for free shipping may have the actual outbound shipping cost deducted from the refund if returned items cause the remaining order total to fall below the free shipping threshold or if the entire order is returned.

 

Non-Returnable Items

 

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

 

  • Final sale, clearance, and items discounted 30% or more
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized or custom items
  • Items marked as non-returnable at checkout
